New HJC For Fall 2012!

Tucker Hibbert to Make AMA Pro Motocross 450 Debut in Pennsylvania

Pelican Rapids, Minn. (August 23, 2012) – Tucker Hibbert, the reigning FIM Snowcross World Champion, will make his AMA Pro Motocross Championship 450 class debut September 1 at the Steel City National in Delmont, Penn. The crossover racer has competed in AMA Pro Motocross 250 (formerly 125) events since 2000 but was sidelined with injures the past two summers. The last time Hibbert lined-up for a pro motocross event was at the 2009 Steel City National.

Hibbert is known worldwide for his accomplishments on a snowmobile but his racing roots lie in motocross. He competed in his first motocross race three years before his first snocross race and earned his pro motocross license six months prior to turning pro in snocross. Over the years, he’s raced to eight AMA Pro Motocross top-15 finishes and four Supercross top-ten finishes in the 250 class.

Watch Hibbert battle the world’s best motocross racers live on FUEL TV and NBC Sports Saturday, September 1. For tickets and more information on the event, visit www.allisports.com/motocross.

Tucker Hibbert – #168
“I’m excited to be back on the bike, healthy and ready to race again. It seems like forever since I’ve raced a motocross national. It’s been a little frustrating the past two years having injuries and not racing since I’ve done it my entire life. It’s a part of who I am. I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I was away from it.

I feel really comfortable on the 450. It took some time but I think it’s a good fit for my size and riding style. My goal is to finish around the top-ten at Steel City. I don’t know if it’s a realistic goal since I have nothing to judge my speed off of but I feel really strong. I’m looking forward to having a good, clean race and to ride to my ability. If that can all come together, I’ll be happy and have good idea where I sit for next summer.”

Tucker Hibbert to Throw First Pitch at Minnesota Twins Game

Pelican Rapids, Minn. (August 15, 2012) – In what will be a pairing of two Minnesota two-time World Champions, snowmobile snocross racer Tucker Hibbert will throw the honorary first pitch at a Minnesota Twins baseball game on September 12. Hibbert is the two-time defending snocross World Champion, while the Minnesota Twins were Major League Baseball’s World Series Champions in 1987 and 1991.

“It’s an exciting honor to throw the first pitch for the Twins, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous,” said Hibbert of Pelican Rapids, Minn. “My experience on the track probably won’t help me on the field and my ball skills are limited to one summer of youth baseball. I’m hoping to throw close to home plate and without hitting the mascot!”

Hibbert has amassed two snocross world titles, six national championships and 10 ESPN Winter X Games medals while racing a Minnesota designed and built Arctic Cat snowmobile. Arctic Cat was formed in 1961; the same year the Twins played their first season in Minnesota.

Hibbert’s pitch will take place Wednesday, September 12 at 6:45 p.m. kicking off the second of a three-night series against the Kansas City Royals. The game will be live on FOX Sports Net. Tickets are available on www.minnesotatwins.com or by calling (800)-33-TWINS.
