June 26, 2014 – The world’s leading snowmobile snocross racer, Tucker Hibbert, received his second ESPY (Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly) Award nomination in the Best Male Action Sports Athlete category. Hibbert hopes to become the first snowmobiler in history to win the prestigious award.
In his 14th year as a pro, he recorded his most successful season-to-date. In January, he eclipsed legend Blair Morgan’s long-standing snocross pro national win record to become the most-winning racer in the sport. Later that month, he became the first athlete in history to win seven consecutive gold medals at X Games Aspen. He now holds 95 pro national victories, two World Championships, eight National Championships and 12 X Games medals.
Alongside Hibbert, surfer Grant Baker, skateboarder Nyjah Huston, Supercross champion Ryan Villopoto and Olympic free skier David Wise were selected by a panel of judges for their standout performances in the action sports category. Through online and mobile voting, fans will decide who will take home the ESPY award. The winner will be announced live on ESPN Wednesday, July 16.

“I didn’t see this coming but couldn’t be more excited. To step back and think about how many talented action sports athletes there are worldwide, then realize that you’re one of five selected for this award is incredible. When I was first nominated in 2011, I didn’t fully understand the scope of the honor. Now, I get it. It’d be a huge honor to be the first snowmobile athlete to win an ESPY. My fans already stepped up and voted me 2014 ISOC Fan Favorite Rider. Now, I hope they can help me take home the ESPY!”

June 17, 2014 – Monster Energy’s Tucker Hibbert will begin his 2014 motocross campaign Saturday at round four of the CMRC Canadian Motocross Nationals in Regina, Saskatchewan. After one race in Canada, Hibbert will turn his focus to the AMA Pro Motocross Championship where he’ll compete at RedBud, Spring Creek and Washougal.
Hibbert recently completed the most successful snocross season of his career where he won his eighth ISOC National Snocross Championship and seventh consecutive X Games gold medal. Since 2000, the crossover athlete has spent his summers racing pro motocross in both Canada and the U.S. His top motocross honors include six CMRC MX2 moto wins and eight AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class top-15 finishes.
Hibbert hasn’t lined-up for a CMRC Canadian Motocross National since 2009. Although he spent last summer racing select AMA Pro Motocross events in the 450 Class, this weekend will mark his first time competing aboard a 450 in Canada in the MX1 class.
Look for Hibbert to be a podium contender Saturday at Moto Valley Raceway. Fans can listen to the event live online at mxpmag.com. Visit tucker-hibbert.com for his complete motocross schedule and to follow this racing this summer.
Tucker Hibbert – CMRC #685 and AMA #168
“I’m excited to start another summer of racing motocross. I wasn’t sure if I’d do the race in Canada this weekend but I feel ready so I decided to sign-up. It’ll be fun to go back to Canada and race on a track I’ve had success at before.
After the round in Canada, I’ll race my three favorite tracks in the U.S. I’m not interested in chasing around the country to hit all the races. For me, it’s more important to put in my best effort at a few select rounds. I’m going to do my best to reach my goal of an AMA Pro Motocross top-10 finish.”

March 17, 2014 – Monster Energy/Arctic Cat’s Tucker Hibbert finished a historic snocross season with three wins at the ISOC Grand Finale in Lake Geneva, Wisc. Hibbert clinched the 2014 ISOC Pro Open Championship Friday night with an exciting come-from-behind win and went on to claim the top spot of the podium Saturday and Sunday to wrap-up the season with 15 of 17 possible Pro Open final victories.
In his 14th winter racing in the pro class, Hibbert recorded his most successful season-to-date. In January, he eclipsed legend Blair Morgan’s long-standing snocross pro national win record to become the most-winning racer in the history of the sport. Later that month, he became the first athlete in history to win seven-consecutive gold medals at X Games Aspen. With his recent wins in Lake Geneva, he’s on track to claim his 100th pro national victory next winter – a feat nearly unheard of in the motorsports world.
Hibbert will now switch gears to prepare for his 15th summer competing in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship where he’ll continue to chase his goal of a top-10 finish in the premier 450-class. Stay connected to tucker-hibbert.com for details on his summer schedule and plans for next winter.
Tucker Hibbert – #68 Monster Energy/Arctic Cat
“Lake Geneva was awesome this year. The snow conditions and weather were perfect. The track was super challenging. It was cool to see a big crowd all three days. The vibe was awesome and I had a lot of fun.
I’m really excited about how the season played out. It’s rewarding to have all the hard work pay off. The team is doing all the right things to reach our goals. I know we have to keep pushing to stay on top and I’m motivated by that challenge. We’ll be working hard to take it one step higher next year.
It’s awesome to see snocross growing and moving in the right direction. We’ve seen a lot of progression in the sport the past few years. ISOC is doing a great job putting on good events and to make live TV a reality Sunday was a big step. The sport has a bright future and I’m excited to be apart of it.
I don’t have my summer plans finalized but know I’ll be racing motocross and mountain bikes. I really enjoy competing in multiple sports and know it’s best way to be prepared for next winter. It’s going to be another summer filled with racing adventures and that’s just the way I like it.”
